Linda mar is a great beach that produces fun ride able surf on a regular basis. Linda mar can handle most swell directions other than a south swell. It can handle swell between 1-6 foot. Much bigger than this it will start to close out. It favors medium to high tides and east-south west winds. Linda mar is a great beach for beginner-advanced surfers. Beginners usually surf the south beach and advanced surfers tend to surf the northern side of the beach.

Rockaway beach is a small gem of the Pacifica surf community. It is protected from most winds and favors a lower tide. Rockaway can handle a 4-10 foot swell in any direction besides a south swell. The currents can be very strong and the shore break can be quite powerful. Rockaway is best during the winter months when the rain and swells produce sand bars. This is an advanced rider break that can pump out some decent waves.
