Nor Cal Surf Shop online store Return Policy

You may return your purchase 30 day's from purchase date.

Clothing returns policy:

All clothing must be in new condition, return of clothing that has been washed, worn or has any odors or stains will not be accepted.  All tags must be attached and in the original packaging. Returns by mail must include an order number, name and address or they will not be accepted (use the label provided). Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless an item is damaged or defective. Refunds will be given within 30 days of receipt of the returned merchandise. Nor Cal Surf Shop is not responsible for lost packages. If for any reason you need to return your clothing, please keep it new, clean and with all tags attached.

Christmas items:

Christmas items are defined in these terms as items sold in between December 1st and January 15th. Christmas returns must be in brand new condition with tags on items. If a gift receipt is required for the purchase please note it in the “Note” section upon checkout.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items:

If you received an item that is damaged or defective, please email our Customer Service Department immediately at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . It is important that you contact us before returning the item, so that we can assist you with return shipping fees. If you do not contact us, you are responsible for all return shipping charges. Please include your order number in the email and a phone number we can contact you on. Please include a detailed description of the damage or defect in your email with photos if possible. If your item arrives damaged please take photos of the damaged package and include them in your email.

Return Policy for Shoes:

We will exchange shoes within 30 day's from the purchase date. All shoes must be returned in original packing and be in new condition. We recommend you try on your shoes indoors on the carpet. Once the shoes have been worn, we cannot accept returns.
Video Return Policy:

Videos can only be returned if they have not been opened and are still in the original packaging.

Skateboard Return Policy:

There are no returns on any assembled skateboards. All skate parts can be returned if they are new and in the original packaging. If you plan on returning any skate products make sure they are new, un-used and they are returned un-opened in the original packaging. Nor Cal Surf Shop does not replace or warranty any skate decks, trucks, bearings, bolts or wheels. If you have any skate products that you feel are unacceptable do to breakage or defects contact the manufacturer directly for replacement warranty or return ability. Nor Cal Surf Shop does not warranty any skate products against breakage or damage of any kind. Nor Cal Surf Shop does not guarantee the exchange or credit for any skate products due to damage such as wheels, kneepads, elbow pads, bearings, bolts, grip tape, hardware, decks, trucks or risers. These items must be sent directly to their manufacturer.
If you have any other products that you believe are defective please send it back along with your original receipt and the return form explaining the defect. Nor Cal Surf Shop will credit you back if the product sent back is defective. Nor Cal Surf Shop covers items for defects for a period of 30 day's from purchase date. After 30 day's all items must be sent back to the manufacturer.

*** All orders shipped with free freight discount and returned for refund will be charged the original shipping and handling charges.

All returns must have a completely filled out Return and Exchange Form.

Surfboards return policy:

Return Policies / Satisfaction Guaranteed. By placing an order with our company or on our web site signifies that you agree to the following return conditions: Qualifying products may be returned within 14 days of shipment by prepaid freight or postage. In order to return any item you must email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. Any packages without return authorization numbers will be refused. Returns must still be in brand new condition and have all the packaging and original contents included to be in perfect condition. No credit will be given for items returned after 14 days or not in NEW SALEABLE condition with all packing material included. Shipping and handling will not be refunded unless we shipped an incorrect item or an error was made on our part. You are responsible for shipping charges for all returns. We will pay for the shipping back to you on a replacement for a defective item. (Defective items are extremely rare). Please clearly mark the Return Authorization Number on the outside of your return (next to the shipping label is best). Please include a copy of your invoice and the form below. Please clearly indicate the reason for your return. Returns will not be processed without a Return Authorization Number and documentation including order number, address, credit card number, expiration date and reason for return. Allow up to 30 days before inquiring about return credits. We can not respond to inquiries before that time. By using our site you agree not to dispute the charges for returned items until 30 days after we receive your return. Orders that are placed and shipped to an alternate address other than the customers own billing address are shipped at the customers own risk to that address and the customers sole recourse for product retrieval or refund shall be with the shipping company with the supplied tracking or shipper number that was supplied when the order was shipped.

Sunglass return policy:

Sunglass returns must include the original receipt, and be in the original, undamaged packaging including the warranty papers and sunglass case. Sunglasses must have no scratches and be in new condition. Sunglasses can only be returned for exchange or store credit, unless the item was shipped defective.

All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that was included with the product. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be subject to a restocking fee**.

**Additional fees will be charged 15% for any product missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals (i.e., any product not in "sell able" condition).

Please include the packing slip with your return and wrap the package securely. For your protection, we recommend that you use a traceable and insurable form of mail for shipment. Nor Cal Surf Shop is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit.
